Meet Me In The Garden Pt. 13

Week 13 everyone! This was the week where we were able to pick some more veggies. We were able to pick some more tomatoes, collard greens and peas. Sorry for my lack of writing in this post, but I have been extremely busy this past month and it will only get busier. But here are a few photos I would like to share.

Meet Me In The Garden Pt. 12

Week 12 of my weekly garden updates. It is also a new month. This week was "feeding week" again with the all purpose plant food. We had a few thunderstorms and some hot days as well. Things are looking greener and greener everyday. We were able to pick more tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. The peas are even growing. It looks way better than last week. Much better.

Meet Me In The Garden Pt. 11

Week 11! I know I sound excited but not as excited as last week. I'm kind of disappointed that here in Newark, NJ, we had three days over 100 degrees. So of course I still went out to make sure my plants were watered after sundown. I still faced the problem with burnt out leaves. Hopefully they will recover and come out stronger than ever.

Meet Me In The Garden Pt. 10

So we are into week ten. We have come a long way since week one. A very long way. I'm just so excited to see progress in all three plots this past week. Plenty has happened. Our cabbage and collards have bigger leaves, the tomatoes are doing well and I finally see one growing on plot 2. I even have a second eggplant starting to bud. The beans in plot 3 are gainng flowers on them as well.
